KOLab: Where Creators and Radio DJs Meet for a One-of-a-Kind KOLaboration!

Last October 11 at Market! Market!, something truly unique happened—KOLab, a partnership between MBC Media Group and Blogapalooza, brought together content creators and MBC radio DJs for a day filled with creativity, fun, and collaboration!

Coming from the success of its Wave 1 and Wave 2 events, KOLab’s culminating day opened its doors to the public for the very first time, giving everyone the chance to experience what the influencers had been raving about. From sitting behind the anchor’s desk to going live on air as a radio DJ, attendees got to experience what it’s like to be on the other side of the mic and camera. There were also exciting activities like voice dubbing and creative workshops that let everyone explore new skills while connecting with fellow creators.

Of course, it wasn’t all work! MBC DJs hyped up the crowd with live performances, while our very own Kirby Bas, together with Ganda Wanda added more excitement by serenading everyone with their charming performances.

The event was packed with interactive zones that kept everyone engaged. At the TV Booth, guests got to play the role of a reporter for a day, while the Radio Booth gave everyone a taste of being a cool radio DJ. The Digital Booth brought fun and laughter as participants joined trending meme challenges, and the Photo Booth was the perfect spot to strike a pose and take home instant photo souvenirs. Guests also collected personalized merchandise at the Souvenir Booth and enjoyed free drinks from the Coffee Booth.

Adding to the fun, there were plenty of games, raffles, and prizes that kept the energy high all afternoon. It was the perfect mix of entertainment and learning, once again proving that Blogapalooza is always one step ahead in creating experiences that are not only fun but also meaningful for creators.

KOLab 2025 marked a first-of-its-kind collaboration between beloved radio personalities and digital influencers, blurring the lines between traditional media and online content creation.
