Global menswear brand HLA turned the streets of Tomas Morato into a vibrant hub of health and movement last Sunday, hosting the HLA Dance Fitness Community Event. Held on January 25, 2026, from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, the event saw over 500 participants—including local residents, city officers, and lifestyle influencers—come together to celebrate the start of 2026 through fitness.

The event was held in strategic partnership with the Quezon City Local Government under the supervision of the Mayor’s Office - Mayor Joy Belmonte and the Quezon City Task Force Disiplina, led by Action Officer Mr. Deck Pelembergo together with Alberto Kimpo, Assistant City Administrator for Operations, and Ma. Margarita Mejia, DPA, Head of the TWG Secretariat . The event gained further momentum with Vida Philippines joining the roster of official sponsors. This collaboration served as a major highlight of the city’s highly successful "QC Car-Free Carefree Sundays" initiative—a program that transforms busy thoroughfares into pedestrian-friendly zones for recreation every Sunday.
A Star-Studded Fitness Experience

The energy reached a fever pitch as former Sexbomb member, Zin Izzy Trazona-Aragon took the stage, leading the crowd through a series of high-octane routines. The atmosphere intensified as she was joined by members of the P-pop boy group 1st.One, whose presence drew massive cheers from younger fans and fitness enthusiasts alike.
A Shared Vision for a Healthier City
This collaboration marks a significant milestone for HLA as it aligns its "Lifestyle" philosophy—symbolizing youth and vitality—with the civic goals of Quezon City.
"We are privileged to partner with the Mayor's Office, Mayor Joy Belmonte and the QC Task Force Disiplina. The efforts of the QC government to reclaim our streets for health and mobility resonate deeply with HLA’s mission to encourage an active lifestyle," said Monica Pangilinan, A&P Manager, HLA Philippines. "This isn't just about fashion; it's about the well-being of the community that wears our brand."
Looking Ahead: A Long-Term Commitment
Beyond this one-day event, the HLA Community has formally expressed interest in a long-term partnership with the Quezon City Local Government. The brand aims to collaborate on future wellness programs and sports activities, seeking to amplify the positive impact on the health and vitality of QC residents.
