At Blogapalooza, building a strong workplace goes beyond meetings, deadlines, and deliverables. It's also about creating meaningful moments where employees can slow down, recharge, and get to know teammates outside of their own departments.
This is exactly what We Time, an initiative by the Human Resources and Organizational Development (HROD) team, is all about.
Designed to strengthen connections across the company, We Time gives BlogaTeam members the opportunity to spend quality time with colleagues they may not work with every day. By bringing employees from different departments together, the program encourages new friendships, meaningful conversations, and stronger teamwork—all while enjoying activities that promote wellness and work-life balance.
The first batch of We Time brought together three members of the BlogaTeam—Ace, Nica, and Aira—for a day dedicated to movement, good food, and well-deserved relaxation. The second batch are Bela, Mikay, and Kath, also enjoyed their own We Time experience at The Body Lab, taking the opportunity to recharge and unwind.
Stretching Beyond Comfort Zones at The Body Lab

The day started with a Reformer Pilates session at The Body Lab in San Juan.
From the moment they arrived, the team was welcomed by a bright and beautifully designed studio. Every corner was clean, modern, and undeniably Instagram-worthy, definitely influencer-approved!
Before the workout began, Coach Kat shared a brief introduction to the history of Pilates and explained how the Reformer machine helps improve strength, flexibility, posture, balance, and overall body control. Throughout the session, the team performed a variety of controlled movements that focused on stretching, core engagement, proper breathing, and full-body alignment.

While the exercises looked easy at first, everyone quickly realized that Reformer Pilates is much more challenging than it seems. Each movement required focus, balance, and control, making it both physically demanding and rewarding.
Despite the challenge, the experience was incredibly enjoyable. It was a refreshing way to move the body, learn something new, and appreciate the importance of taking care of one's physical health.

A huge thank you to The Body Lab for making this memorable experience possible during Blogapalooza's first We Time activity. Those interested in trying Reformer Pilates can visit The Body Lab's website and social media pages to learn more and book a class.
A Feast of Mediterranean and Japanese
After the workout, it was time to refuel.
The team of Ace, Nica, and Aira headed to Feta for a delicious Mediterranean lunch. They chose the restaurant's group menu, allowing everyone to enjoy a little bit of everything, from flavorful appetizers to satisfying mains.
Meanwhile, the team of Bela, Mikay and Kath headed for a feast of Japanese favorites. After their workout, they were craving comforting Japanese dishes and treats, making it the perfect way to recharge.
Sharing dishes around the table made the lunch even more enjoyable, giving everyone the chance to continue conversations, laugh together, and simply enjoy each other's company outside work.
Ending the Day with Well-Deserved Relaxation

To wrap up the day, the team visited Manille Wellness Spa for a 90-minute massage.
After an active morning and a filling lunch, the massage was the perfect way to unwind. The calming atmosphere and relaxing treatment helped ease muscle tension from the Pilates session, leaving everyone feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready to take on the days ahead.
Because People Will Always Come First
At Blogapalooza, taking care of employees goes beyond providing a great workplace. The company believes that people do their best work when they also have time to rest, recharge, and build meaningful relationships with one another.
Programs like We Time reflect this commitment by giving employees dedicated opportunities to pause from their busy schedules, prioritize their well-being, and connect with colleagues beyond work responsibilities. These shared experiences strengthen not only friendships but also collaboration, creating a workplace where people genuinely enjoy working together.
By investing in initiatives that promote wellness, connection, and work-life balance, Blogapalooza continues to foster a culture where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to thrive, both professionally and personally.
We Time is just one of the many ways Blogapalooza continues to invest in its people because when employees feel supported, they're empowered to bring their best selves to work every day.
