Imagine golden sand dunes, vibrant art, and music that makes your heart race. That’s exactly what the BlogaFam experienced at the Himala Arts and Music Festival, held on November 16 at the iconic Paoay Sand Dunes in Ilocos Norte. It was a celebration of art, music, and culture that left everyone in awe.
The festival featured amazing performances from Shanti Dope and Zack Tabudlo, whose energy lit up the night. Local artists and designers showcased breathtaking art installations, creating picture-perfect backdrops for everyone. The evening was packed with excitement—fire and belly dancing mesmerized the crowd, while a foam party added a playful touch to the festivities. And when it came to food, the Asian cuisines served at the festival’s food park didn’t just satisfy cravings but also supported the province’s micro, small, and medium entrepreneurs.
But the adventure didn’t stop there. During the day, BlogaFam took on the thrilling Paoay Sand Dunes with 4x4 rides and sandboarding. The festival’s lively vibe continued with inflatables, photobooths, and a variety of other fun activities that brought out everyone’s adventurous side.
The next day was all about exploring more of Ilocos Norte. From stepping back in time at Malacañang of the North to marveling at the historic Paoay Church, every stop was a journey into the province’s rich heritage. A bite of the famous Batac Empanada added a flavorful twist to the trip, while the Kapurpurawan Rock Formation stood as a natural masterpiece. The final stop, Saud Beach, was the perfect place to unwind and soak in the beauty of the coastline.
The sand dunes, the shores, and every moment in Ilocos Norte was unforgettable. The province’s charm, energy, and culture leave you saying, “Ilocos Norte, I’m in!”
