CICP Unites Industry Leaders at “Voices of Influence” to Shape a Responsible Digital Future

Last March 21, 2025, at the Bayanihan Center, Unilab, Pasig City, Blogapalooza proudly stood alongside fellow industry leaders at the Creator and Influencer Council of the Philippines (CICP)’s “Voices of Influence” event. As a long-time advocate for the creator economy, we were honored to witness and participate in a crucial moment for the community—the General Membership Meeting, Induction of the 2025 Board of Directors, and Presentation of 2025 Plans and Committees.

More than just an event, this gathering reaffirmed our shared mission: to empower creators, brands, and agencies while fostering a responsible digital landscape. 

With the presence of government officials, industry partners, and thought leaders, the event became a powerful reminder of the growing influence of the creator economy and the responsibilities that come with it.

The event also emphasized the importance of ethical and responsible content creation. Hon. Geraldine Roman, District Representative of Bataan’s 1st District, shed light on online accountability and combatting fake news, a pressing issue in the digital space. Meanwhile, Atty. Nick Conti tackled the legal aspects, ensuring that content creators are protected from exploitation—a concern that Blogapalooza actively supports through our partnerships and educational efforts.

Strengthening the Creator Community

Newly inducted CICP President, Jel Directo captured the essence of this movement, stating, “We want to make sure that what we will do for the industry actually helps in the long term. Because we are invested in the future of the creator industry. With our theme for 2025 – leading, shaping, and strengthening – we envision a very strong future for the creator community.”

This message resonated deeply with us at Blogapalooza, as we have always championed the power of community and collaboration in the creator space. From our own initiatives to our active participation in CICP’s programs, we have seen firsthand how unity and strategic direction can transform the industry for the better.
