BX Talent Denis De Chavez Brings Home Gold at the Hyperfly Asian Open

Big win, real story, and honestly, one worth celebrating.

Last March 29 at Circuit Makati, BX Talent Denis De Chavez stepped onto the mats and showed what he is made of. Competing in the Adult White Belt Absolute Division, he brought home Gold at the 2026 Hyperfly Jiu-Jitsu Gi & No-Gi Asian Open Championships. This event also marked the first time the Hyperfly Asian Open Championship was held in the Philippines, making the win even more special.

The tournament, organized by the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation of the Philippines in partnership with Hyperfly Philippines, gathered athletes from different places, all bringing their best to the competition. And right there among them was Denis, focused, steady, and fully in the moment.

What makes this even more inspiring is that Denis is not just training and competing. He is also creating content. Balancing both worlds is not easy, but he makes it work. From putting in the hours on the mat to showing up consistently online, he proves that passion and discipline can go hand in hand.
