BX Talent Chenee Jimenez Speeds Into a New Era with TGR Philippine Cup 2026

Big moves, bold choices, and a whole lot of grit.

BX Talent Chenee Jimenez just reached a huge milestone as she officially joined the 2026 TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippine Cup as one of the drivers for Team TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippines.

The first race weekend happened last March 13 to 15 at Riverpark, Cavite, where the energy was high and the competition even higher. It was a space filled with speed, excitement, and a new generation of racers ready to prove themselves. Right in the middle of it all was Chenee, stepping into a completely new challenge and owning every moment of it.

The TGR Philippine Cup, organized by Toyota Motor Philippines, has been bringing motorsports closer to Filipinos since 2014. Now on its 12th season, the event continues to grow and evolve. This year, it introduced the Next Generation Tamaraw OMR, a locally made race car built for performance and precision.

This new racing platform takes center stage in the Tamaraw Racing Class, where drivers compete using the same spec cars. It really comes down to skill, focus, and determination. For Chenee, it is the perfect place to learn, improve, and push herself further with every race.

She joins Team TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippines alongside TMP President Masando Hashimoto, together with Alex Lim also known as Banaweboy, Justin Buzzhype, Enzo Ison, and Will Lucas. It is an exciting mix of experienced and rising racers, all bringing something new to the track.

Chenee shared, “Survived Race 1 in one piece, still have a lot to work on to get to pace but I’m super happy with our progress.”

And honestly, that says everything. It is not always about winning right away. Sometimes, it is about showing up, learning as you go, and celebrating every small win along the way.
